Mission
The Sonoran Youth Leadership Initiative empowers rising leaders to live with purpose, lead with integrity, and lift others through service. Rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ, inspired by the discipline of the United States Marines, and guided by the values of the Boy Scouts of America, we shape youth to become strategic thinkers, legacy builders, and community stewards prepared to influence the world for good.
Vision
We expect our graduates to emerge as young leaders of valor—individuals who make a difference by living out their values in every aspect of their lives. From making strategic, mission-oriented decisions to demonstrating a deep sense of responsibility to their families and communities, they will leave a lasting mark on the world around them.
Inspiration
Sonoran Youth Leadership Initiative is inspired by young men and women who given an opportunity rise to the occasion and put forth their very best. I saw this daily in the Marine Corps where 18-19 year old men and women led people into battle, were entrusted with being air traffic controllers, and making real-time strategic decisions. All this while their counterparts were flipping the proverbial burger.
